Travel the World as an Engineering Student


Spain



You will earn three credits towards your degree in a 10 day trip. You will learn about History of Science and Technology and the fascinating stories behind the some of Spain's grandest buildings, such as the Roman aqueduct of Segovia, and Prado Museum in Madrid and tour the cities of Sevilla, Cordoba, Toledo, Burgos, Salamanca, and Merida. In addition, you will be introduced to Engineering Ethics with a Global perspective. The tour is conveniently scheduled during winter break. We will depart from Omaha on December 27, 2007, and return January 6, 2008.

Tour of Spain, visiting Madrid, Burgos, Avila, Segovia, Seville, Cordoba, Toledo, Burgos, Salamanca, Merida.

All engineering majors, freshman standing

* Resident tuition: $160.00/credit hour, Non-resident tuition: $475.00/credit hour. Students will register for the spring semester, scholarships apply (J.D. Edwards, Regents, National Merit/Achievement/Hispanic Recognition, Scott Scholars)

** Program Fee covers full room & board, air & ground group transportation, international student identity card, emergency accident and sickness insurance, tickets and admissions to all sites and attractions, pre-departure booklet, phrase-book and luggage tags.

***Passport ($100), spending money for personal expenses.
